This January, Arkansas Shorts celebrates its 12th year and the festival team is on a steadfast mission to bring entertaining and eye-opening films to our enthusiastic film-loving audience, who are thirsty to engage with worlds outside of their own. Spotlighting your work within our exciting lineup this year, would be our distinct honor!
Arkansas Shorts is hosted by the Spa City of Hot Springs, Arkansas, boyhood home of Bill Clinton, and home-away-from-home for baseball legend Babe Ruth and gambling aficionados such as Frank Sinatra and Al Capone. The festival take place along the historic Central Avenue, lined by stunning turn-of-the-century Bathhouses, music venues, and restaurants.

The festival features three blocks of short films presented over the course of the evening: an International block containing a grab bag of subjects from around the world; a North American block featuring high-profile, award-winning work from around the US and Canada; and, of course, the juried selection of Arkansas-made short films (detailed below), including those produced in this year’s Inception to Projection filmmaking program.
