The XIX International Film Festival “Love a Man” was held under the patronage of “UNICA” and the President of the City of Oświęcim.
The festival tries to show films that talk about the human being, about love, happiness, creativity, victory, etc… but also a human being that fights, suffers, loses…
Films of the festival: short films, feature films, reports, documentaries, animations - They present great tragedies and small dramas, as well as moments of happiness and joy. They move, bring tears and make you smile. They often disturb and arouse emotions. They refer to man and his place in the world.
146 films from 19 countries were submitted to the competition (Bangladesh, Croatia, Egypt, France, Hong Kong, Spain, India, Iraq, Iran, Ireland, Jordan, Canada, Germany, Palestine, Poland, Romania, Ukraine, United States, Hungary) , of which 66 films from 13 countries qualified for the competition (Bangladesh, Croatia, Egypt, France, Hong Kong, Spain, Iraq, Iran, Ireland, Jordan, Palestine, Poland, USA, Japan, Korea, Japan, Korea, Korea Republic of Korea and Japan). The Non-Professional Film Festival “Love a Man” - under the auspices of “UNICA” - the World Union of Non-Professional Film and the President of the City of Oświęcim - is a gathering of filmmakers who are close to the affairs of one man, a loving, joyful, creative, victorious man, but also a man who struggles, suffers, loses … Festival films - shorts, stories, reports, documentaries, animations - record human stories. They present great tragedies and small dramas, as well as moments of happiness and joy. They move, bring tears and make you smile. They often disturb and arouse emotions. They refer to man and his place in the world. They witness social, family, personal and intimate events. They enter into man’s struggles, his struggle for life, in the context of the changes taking place in the closest and most distant surroundings. They try to discover the mysterious beauty of man.
